Tai Qiang President & Chief Executive Officer

With multiple degrees from Tsinghua University in Information Technology and a PhD in Business Administration, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Dr. Qiang served in several management posts at Intel before joining GUI as operations director in 2003. He is a member of the China Technology Summit serving as Chairman in 2007 and 2009. Dr. Qiang serves on the board of SinoBank Corp., one of our major shareholders, and is also chair of The Nature Conservancy’s China board of directors and a member of its global board of directors. In September 2013, Dr. Qiang was elected to the Foundation Board of the World Economic Forum. In January 2016, he was named a Global Technology Advocate by the United Nations.


Wang Chuan Chief Technology Officer

Holds a PhD in Engineering from California Institute of Technology where he attained notoriety with his work in robotics and artificial intelligence. After serving on the faculty for 2 years he returned to China where he assumed the post of research head of the Lenovo computer hardware division. He joined GUI in 2002. Dr. Chuan has published more than 30 scholarly papers on computer science in technical journals.


Liu Zhong Chief Operating Officer

With direct charge over the company’s 30,000 associates located at 5 facilities throughout China, Mr. Zhong has gained accolades for his organizational management methodologies. He holds a Masters in Business Administration from Peking University and previously served at SVT Technologies before joining GUI in 2000.


Jiao Wu Chief Financial Officer

Jiao Wu has been our chief financial officer since May 2013. She served as our deputy chief financial officer from October 2011 to May 2013 and was responsible for instituting GUI's financial systems and organization. Before joining our company, Jiao was an audit partner at KPMG in Beijing, where she led the initial public offerings and audits of several major large-cap Chinese companies.


Ding Lei Min Controller

Holding a Masters in Economics and Management from Fudan University, Mr. Min joined GUI in 2007. Previously he had served in financial positions with Sino Telcom and Cathay Technologies. He was previously an investment banker for more than 15 years and also held senior management position in listed companies in Hong Kong.


Zhenfei Zhang Chief Risk Officer

Prior to his current position, Zhenfei served in various management positions since he joined GUI in 2006, including head of our infrastructure services division from September 2007 to May 2011, and concurrently served as head of our security technology division from May 2010 to May 2011. Today he is responsible for data and information security across our platforms. He received his bachelor’s degree in computer science from University of Science and Technology Beijing and holds a master’s degree in computer science from Peking University.


Jiangji Hong Vice President, Research and Development

Dr. Hong is the director of all of GUI’s R&D and obtained his PhD from Georgia Tech University in 1991. Before joining the company he was the Chief of Hardware R&D of Hytera’s best-selling model “MD” series. He subsequently returned to China to establish the R&D Center for Hytera China in 1999. During his career at Hytera, Dr. Hong served as Senior Director of the Hytera Beijing R&D Center, Chief Engineer and Director of the R&D Center of Hytera Personal Communication Department, and Vice Chairman of the Patent Committee in Hytera China Research Academy.
